Helen Indoor Pickleball (HIP) features four state of the art outdoor surface courts indoors. Our Cushion-X system is easier on your joints and feet, allowing for a better player experience, all without impacting ball bounce.
Our community is a mixture of local residents, college students, families, and tourists/vacationers visiting Helen from all over the world.

Men's & Mixed Doubles Strategy Clinic There's a level above where you're playing now...and getting there requires being "on purpose." This men's and mixed doubles pickleball clinic is built for players who've hit that plateau: doubles-specific strategy, court positioning, and shot selection under pressure — the tactical layer that separates players who understand the game from players who are just reacting to it. Straightforward, substantial instruction, no fluff. Tuesdays, 6:30–8:30 (occasionally running to 9): 6:30–7:15 — Instruction: Doubles strategy, court positioning, stacking, transition-zone movement. 7:15–~7:45 — Live demo game: Coach plays a demo match and narrates the decisions in real time — why to stack here, when to poach there, how to reset under pressure. 7:45–8:30 (or 9) — Guided open play: Apply what you just worked on against live opponents, with coaching feedback as you go. Stick with a consistent partner or rotate through the group — your call.

Advanced Skills and Drills at Helen Indoor Pickleball! This weekly clinic is designed for those who can demonstrate excellent fundamentals and are looking for next level success. SCHEDULE: 6:30-7:30 | Various Technique Drillls for the theme of the evening 7:30-9:00pm | Open play to practice your skills What We’ll Focus On Consistency, Strategy, and Resetting. The Art of the Third Shot: Master the choice between a deceptive drive and the perfect "unattackable" drop. Offensive Dinking: Learn to use placement, pace, and spin to force your opponent into an error rather than just waiting for one. Drills focused on "soft hands"—turning a 60 mph smash into a dead dink at your feet. Advanced Footwork & Positioning: Master the proper patterns and learn how to close gaps at the NVZ (Non-Volley Zone) effectively. The "Speed-Up" Game: Knowing when to pull the trigger and how to win the hand battles that follow.

Our Foundations Clinic for Emerging Players is the perfect jumping off point for people that know the fundamentals and want to get better in a friendly, non-threatening environment with people who are really just nice to be around. Who: Men and women who consider themselves an emerging and improving player. You know fundamental rules of scoring, serving, and returning. Fun Format: 6-6:45 - Our instructors/coaches focus on one pickleball fundamental and/or strategy and implements as a drilling exercise to improve your game faster. 6:45 – 8:15pm | Open Play & Social Play designed to practice what you learned, swap partners, and enjoy the community.

NEW! ♦️♣️ Pickleball Poker | Fridays from 7pm-9pm. Starts August 31st! Prizes awarded! Format: you will play in a fun, rotating round robin format with a different player each round. All skill levels are welcome. We are trying to hold an event where you'll have fun whether you're a 4.0 or a beginner. At Helen Indoor, we strongly believe there are big benefits to playing with various skills levels. Advanced players can encourage less experienced players and work on shots with little to no pressure, and the less experienced players see where they can go with time and practice. Pickeball Poker works like this: $10 entry fee. For every 3 points you and your teammate score you each get a card. EX #1) Game 1 is 11-8. The winning team gets 3 cards each, the losing team gets 2. EX) #2: Game 2 is 11-3. Winning team gets 3 cards, losing team gets 1. You collect cards throughout play and at the end, you assemble your individual hand to create the best poker hand. Whoever has the best individual hand wins that night. 16-20 players: winner gets $25, 2nd place $15, 3rd place $10 12 players: $20 | $10 | $5 8 players: $15 | $5 | $5
